Porch

This project was cultivated through me and one of my best friends and collaborator, Michael Molloy’s, love of porches. We agreed that the American porch is space of community, inclusion, and friendship. We built a modular moveable structure to grant us the ability to install a porch wherever we wanted and with it, the concepts that exist within the porch. The porch is an all embracing space for everybody, something that has become more and more important daily. With two disposable cameras that circulated between the attendees, the performance/installation was documented and later featured on the online gallery Margarine Gallery.
